Nuestra experiencia se remonta a casi veinte años, desde que se iniciara el proceso de liberalización del mercado de redes y servicios en Colombia, hasta la reciente introducción de servicios basados en Internet. Durante todos estos años, a través de nuestra participación en significativas transacciones, hemos logrado acumular un importante conocimiento del sector y hemos consolidado nuestra imagen como una firma que combina el conocimiento legal y regulatorio con el entendimiento de las particularidades técnicas y los requerimientos financieros de esta industria.
Esta área de práctica se encarga de aspectos relacionados con el régimen propio de las telecomunicaciones tales como el registro de operadores, la obtención de permisos de uso del espectro y la asesoría en la aplicación del marco regulatorio. Así mismo, la firma ha asesorado a entidades estatales en el desarrollo de nueva regulación y ha participado en transacciones de fusión y adquisición de operadores.
Otros aspectos tratados por este área de práctica corresponden a aquellos relacionados con los medios audiovisuales que incluyen la autorización de operadores de TV, la asesoría en contratos de distribución de contenidos para televisión y esquemas OTT.
También hace parte de esta área de práctica la asesoría en materia del régimen legal de datos personales y de manera especial, la asesoría en materia de celebración de contratos bajo el régimen de ciencia y tecnología.

Sahara Bejarano Tovar
Junior Associate
Sahara Bejarano is an associate of the Firm in the Technology, Media & Communications and Projects areas. She is a lawyer from Universidad de la Sabana (2020), during her studies she was a member of the Intellectual Property research group. Additionally, in 2019 she completed a diploma course in Legaltech at Universidad de los Andes.
She has experience advising national and multinational clients on issues related to technology law, personal data protection, cybersecurity and telecommunications. Likewise, within the Firm, she has participated in advising on procurement in technology matters.
In the area of projects, Sahara participates in the legal structuring of the project for the improvement of the integration of the railway mobility systems in the Eje Cafetero and Antioquia regions, and in the legal structuring of the project for the improvement of the wastewater system of the Metropolitan Area of Cúcuta.
Sahara Bejarano is an associate of the Firm in the Technology, Media & Communications and Projects areas.
